Our goal is to ensure that Scottish tech stories, featuring incredible role models, are readily available to teachers to show their pupils. By bringing real-life role models into the classroom, we aim to inspire the next generation to consider a career in tech!

We will turn the details provided into a one page slide that will then be featured on the lesson starter tool we have for teachers delivering Computing Science.

By including this information, it provides details that pupils are likely to recognise and connect with. At a young age, it is unlikely that they will have heard of many companies or job roles. So, we want to include something that is recognisable to them. We hope this will help make a slide on a screen become a real-life role model, as someone who has potentially grown up in areas they are growing up in, etc. while also helping schools identify and connect with role models who are alumni and potential opportunities to invite you to speak to their classes.
