Primary Adobe x dressCode competition
We are delighted to be collaborating with Adobe, Edinburgh to launch this really exciting Christmas competition to support Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas! This competition is open to all female primary pupils in the UK and Ireland.
Primary competition
Create a digital image that tells a great story that will encourage Adobe employees in Edinburgh to donate to Cash for Kids: Mission Christmas. This will be used by Adobe employees as their background for video calls. Adobe will match their employee’s donations, a fact which you might want to encourage pupils to include in their entry.

Is it free to enter?
Yes, the competition is free to enter.
Is this a girl’s only competition?
Yes. dressCode’s primary aim to help close the gender gap in Computing Science and this competition is part of our actions to address this.
Who can take part?
The competition is open to female students attending UK and Ireland Primary schools.
Are you able to provide feedback for entries?
Unfortunately not. Previous competitions have had a significant number of entries and dressCode is run by three teachers, we would love to give feedback to everyone, but it’s just not possible. Rest assured that every entry will be considered and judged fairly by impartial judges in Adobe.
How many winners will there be?
The judges will decide on a winning entry from each year group (P1 – P7).
Can we enter as a team?
A group of pupils can enter. The maximum team size is 4. All team members must be the same year group.

What is the judging criteria?
The judges will be looking for creative, eye catching entries that stand out. The judges will be paying close attention to how well the image links to the theme of Christmas charity giving.
How do I submit entries?
Please email your pupil’s entries to competitions@dresscode.org.uk Entries must be submitted by an official school email or will not be included in the competition.
How do I name the files?
As long as each filename has something meaningful that identifies the individual/team and school. Try to avoid 1, 2, 3, 4 for example! Something like school-teamname would really help us out when judging.
What format do I need to send entries as?
Any common digital format is acceptable. Pictures of a physical drawing is fine for younger pupils, as well as PowerPoint, Slides, .jpeg and .png for example.
Can pupils submit more than one entry?
No. We are only accepting one entry per pupil/team. If we receive multiple entries from an individual pupil/team we will take the first submission as the entry for the competition.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in January. We will contact the teacher associated with the winning entry and send out the prizes to them. If you have any other questions you can contact us via competitions@dresscode.org.uk
