dressCode hackathon at Scottish Parliament

The hackathon coincides with the launch of the Education and Skills Committee’s report on STEM learning experience in early education.

We were thrilled to be able to run a hackathon at Holyrood in partnership with the Scottish Parliament!

The event marked the launch of the Education and Skills Committee’s report on STEM learning experience in early education.

The hackathon’s theme focused on the findings of the report, which highlighted the difficulties around addressing the gender gap in STEM, the issues with schools in rural areas not being able to access events, and areas of high levels of deprivation not being involved in STEM initiatives.

This was such an incredible event that joined education, industry and government as it was a huge honour dressCode got the opportunity to run this event. It was amazing!

Thank you so much! And a big shout out to all the amazing talented girls from John Paul Academy, St.Kentigern’s Academy, Biggar High School, Holy Rood RC High School and Newbattle High School. And as always a massive thank you to JPMorgan, we would not be able to run such fantastic events like this without your support!
