Maya McAndrew

The years winner of the Hopper Award at St Andrew’s Academy. Last night was our senior students award ceremony and the Hopper award was given to our current S6 pupil Maya McAndrew.   Maya sat Higher Computing Science last year and achieved a grade 'A'.   Maya is sitting Advanced Higher Computing this year as well as Level 6 Games Development.  She is now applying for university courses in games development and hopes to gain employment in this field.  She is a worthy winner of the award and a great example of girls paving the way in computing science.
